For 100 level students:
Are you an engineering or medical student in any university or polytechnique?
Did you gain admission through predegree and scored 300 and above?
Or did you gain admission through ume and scored 250 and above?
Then here's your chance to apply for the annual agbami special medical and engineering scholarship award programme.

It is open to indigens of the niger delta region which includes delta,cross river,rivers,edo,bayelsa,imo,ondo states etc.

How To Apply:
You can apply by going downloading,filling and submitting thd form at any designated office in your state. You are required to attach a copy of your admission letter or letter of identification from your school,a copy of your local government of origin,a letter of attestation from the dean of student affairs in your school.
NB you will be required to carry along the original copies of the attachments for sighting.
This award is designed to run for fifteen years and has only ran about two years now.
The payment is N100,000 for engineering and other medical courses apart from medicine which receives N200,000.
Once awarded,payments continue until graduation unless your cgpa drops below 3.0 then the payments stop.

For 200 level students:
following the above format as well but must have a cgpa of 3.0 before you can apply.
NB You must include a statement of your result duly stamped to certify that your cgpa is actually 3.0 and above.

The next time this form will be out again wil be the second semester of next session-2010/11. So this information is necessary so that you can start getting ready all the requirements because the offer when finally open doesnt last more than 3 weeks before it closes and one may not actually be fully prepared if he has to wait until the offer opens first.
